The report highlights the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA)<\/strong>, a strategic initiative aimed at addressing critical infrastructure challenges across key sectors such as energy, water, transport, and ICT<\/strong>, to promote regional integration and economic growth.<\/p>\n

Since its inception in 1991, PIDA has facilitated 433 projects<\/strong>, achieving notable success in the ICT sector, where 75% of initiated projects have been completed<\/strong>. The report also identifies key challenges that continue to hinder Africa’s infrastructure development, including insufficient access to clean water, energy deficits, and inadequate transport networks.<\/p>\n
