This session will address the challenges faced in financing Africa’s infrastructure and how AUDA-NEPAD is developing new improved approaches that can accelerate project preparation towards reaching financial close. Key aspects of the improved SDM approach include upfront integration of investment requirements into early-stage project preparation; expanded engagement of development partners and providers of technical assistance, finance, and risk mitigation sources; and elevated engagement between project owners and financiers
