Session 13A: CMP Funding Mechanisms, preliminary findings and knowledge management session

The session aims to present the preliminary conclusions and recommendations of the Specific Support Study on the Funding Mechanisms of the CMP Projects, gather institutional knowledge from the participants of how this kind of projects have been financed in the past, and draw conclusions about best practices to promote and issues to avoid. There will be a 20-minute time slot to share the methodology and preliminary findings, conclusions and recommendations of the study followed by a brief Q&A to ask the participants about their experience on funding regional projects, which mechanism have worked well, and which are not to recommend. Finally, the session will be concluded by a panel discussion in which the panellists will delve deeper into the implementation of CMP Phase III, potential challenges, opportunities, and strategies to ensure its effective execution.
